Day 1: Marrakech to Rose Valley

We start our journey by picking you up from your location (Aeroport, Hotel, Riyad…), then we head to Ouarzazate through the High Atlas Mountains in a pass that links the south east of Marrakech to the gate of Desert, called tichka, which is considered as the highest major mountain road in North Africa reaching a height of 2.260 meters above the sea level, for a magical 2 hours’ drive followed by a coffee break. Our next stop would be to admirethe beautiful views on the road before we reach and discover the amazing site of kasbah Ait benhaddou which is a fortified old village with houses built in clay, on a beautiful river on the road between Marrakech and the Sahara, demonstrating an amazing clay architecture.Afterwards, we drive for 1 hour to the cinema studio where you can enjoy taking pictures in one of the most famous film making areas. Next stop is Kasbah Taourirtit’s a citadel set against the backdrop of the Atlas Mountains passing by Skora Oasis that lined with immense palm groves, which leads us to the rose valley (El-Kelaa Mgouna). This valley is rich of its Berber culture and traditions along with magnificent landscapes where we will be spending the night, relaxing and enjoying a Moroccan menu for dinner.
